R&B singer Keyshia Cole revealed in a recent interview that she dreams of opening an animal hospital with her earnings from her music career -- a dream she's had since she can remember.
The Oakland, California raised singer/songwriter always wanted to become a veterinarian as a child, and to this day, hasn't given up on her dream.
"I had everything when I was a child -- hamsters and guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats... so, if it be the Lord's will, I will have enough money to open up a veterinary hospital," Cole said.
But apparently, just opening the business is not her only desire, she also wants to go to school to get more knowledge of the field.
"I could just hire doctors to come in and I could go to school (to study)," she said.
School is definitely one of her priorities. According to reports, Cole has been putting time into her studies as of late, recently completed her high school diploma while taking lessons in between shows.
"I definitely want to go further because I want to do something else besides this," Cole admitted.
But, school will have to wait, at least for the next few months. Her sophomore album, Just Life You, dropped last Tuesday (September 25), so she should be quite busy promoting in for the months to come.
The album's first single, "Let It Go" featuring Missy Elliott and Lil Kim, is currently at no. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles charts.
