SIN CITY, also known as Las Vegas, is also the city that is constantly popping up with new hotels, restaurants, shopping, and unique experiences are just a few things that bring people back to roam the Las Vegas Strip. While on our Trail Trek Tour with Toyota, we also had the change to check out the Park MGM Hotel and Casino. Here’s what we did.
The SPA: Constant travel can do a number on our bodies. We tend to forget that self-care is needed when we finally catch a break. Park MGM made sure that was possible by granting us a custom 50-minute massage at the spa. We were granted access to all the amenities, such as the hot tub, sauna, and steam room before our message to ensure we were relaxed. The most important part was that our phones were not allowed and had to be stored in a locker. Shutting out the social media world for a few hours was definitely relaxing.
Rooms: Following our massage, we headed up to our room to get situated for the night. The newly renovated room was decorated with photography, illustrations, and paintings that gave off a comfortable home vibe that also helped our creative minds stay inspired.
Restaurants: A hotel would not be complete without having unique restaurants inside. We started off our mornings off atPrimRose Restaurant that is located just steps from the lobby. This South of France-inspired restaurant is modeled after a country home with different rooms such as a drawing room for cocktails, dining room, and an outdoor terrace & garden. The menu offers a nice variety of choices such as oatmeal, fresh fruit blends, egg dishes and fried chicken just to name a few.
If you don’t pay attention to where you are walking you might miss an amazing steak. Bavette’s Steakhouse is located near the casino floor and instantly became one of our favorite places at Park MGM. This Chicago based steakhouse has a French flair with a speakeasy vibe. We enjoyed specialty cocktails from the bar and indulge in a multi-level seafood tower, baked crab cakes, peppered duck and goat cheese terrine and more. We ordered the 16oz classic ribeye – Chicago cut with béarnaise, steak salt with a side of elote style corn and Brussel sprouts. Highly recommended in our opinion.
Whether you like to explore new options or just passing by Las Vegas, Park MGM is the place to check out. There are many other restaurants and entertainment that we didn’t get to see or try out but we’ll be back to explore it all again! Thank you to Park MGM and the Trail Trek Tour crew for the hospitality!
