Vans’ all-weater MTE collection is a must for the fall/winter season. This year, they extend the offering with new editions to the line: the Sk8-Hi MTE 2.0 DX and the UltraRange EXO Hi MTE. Each shoe boast moisture management, heat retention, and extra grip.
Since its inception, the Sk8-Hi has been a durable favorite among fans of the brand beyond just skateboarding. For the MTE collection, the classic has been reimagined with a weatherproof upper equipped with both tongue and heel pulls for easy on and off, and a reinforced rubber toe cap for added durability. MTE 360 heat retaining technology keeps feet warm and dry, while UltraCush molded drop-in sockliner and added Achilles cushioning keep feet comfortable all day. Finally, a rugged boot lug MTE sole completes the package, making use of 20 years of snow boot experience for maximum traction. The Vans Sk8-Hi MTE 2.0 DX is available in apricot/black and blue block/marshmallow colorways.
The Vans all-weather MTE 360 technology is also utilized on the UltraRange EXO Hi MTE, created with better heat retention and moisture wicking management. A weather-treated upper, a heat retention layer between the outsole/midsole and sockliner, and warmth lining give this shoe an extra edge. A newly engineered co-molded outsole with reverse lug Waffle tread is built to maximize grip and durability, while maintaining a lightweight versatility. The UltraRange EXO Hi MTE is offered in navy and canteen/marshmallow colorways.
