Dr. Martens reveals the latest collaboration in The 1460 Remastered series, teaming up with the iconic MEDICOM TOY.
Known for their collectable BE@RBRICKS, Japanese cult favorite MEDICOM TOY uses Dr. Marten’s iconic 1460 boot as the canvas.
The boot features a completely debossed upper and “@” stamp on the side is both subtle — yet instantly recognizable to MEDICOM TOY heads. Nodding to the brand’s signature BE@RBRICKS, the boot has been crafted with a fleece lining and fluffy laces — included in both red and blue. Along with our boot, the collaboration includes six bespoke BE@RBRICKS* — each taking cues from Docs wearers in each decade.
Kicking off with the 60s BE@RBRICK. Where DM’s began, it’s complete with a buzzcut and ska music on loop. The 70s BE@RBRICK is no-nonsense punk — loud, brash and ready to challenge the norm. The 80s goth BE@RBRICK is all leather, lace and fishnets, while the 90s flannel, Docs and an unwashed attitude can only be grunge BE@RBRICK. The vibrant Kawaii movement inspires the colourful 00s BE@RBRICK. And the 10s BE@RBRICK likes plaid, sports a beard, and knew about your favourite band way before you did. Together, they’re a tribute to the alternative subcultures that have made us the brand we are today.
The MEDICOM TOY x Dr. Martens 1460 boot drops October 31st at DrMartens.com and select partners.
