Legendary military brand Alpha Industries announces a new Fall/Winter 2020 collaboration with another iconic brand in Playboy.
The collaboration marks just the second time the heritage military brand has teamed up with Playboy to drop a garment-dyed MA-1 bomber jacket featuring the brand’s quintessential bunny logo and images of vintage Playboy covers.
The ongoing collaboration with Playboy is a natural fit for Alpha Industries due to the legacy and roots both brands have within the U.S. Military. Alpha Industries’ history with the U.S. Military started with producing M-65s and other outerwear to outfit the soldiers in Vietnam in the 1960s. Playboy was well-known for supporting the military through a pen pal program with the Armed Forces called “Operation Playmate”. The aim of this program was to boost morale of troops deployed overseas.
This limited-edition MA-1 Battlewash Flight Jacket is made up of nylon and polyester and features include utility pocket on sleeve with pen cap inserts, signature red “Remove Before Flight” flag, knit collar, cuffs and waistband as well as Playboy embroidery on chest and back and covers on the lining of the jacket, among more details.
The Alpha Industries x Playboy jacket will be available for pre-order on Tuesday (November 17th) before becoming available on Thursday (November 19th) at AlphaIndustries.com.
