To recognize Earth Day this year, Spalding is partnering with black-owned small business Ol’ Dirty Planters to turn special edition basketballs into custom, upcycled planters.
Ol’ Dirty Planters’ basketball planters create sustainable, forever homes for unusable basketballs with an innovative design. So for Earth Day 2021, the brand teamed up with Spalding to bring to life limited edition basketball planters. Each planter will be made from a genuine leather Spalding ball from John Elliott’s FW17 collection.
This is the first time these balls will be available for purchase.
An exclusive drop of 20 Spalding x Ol’ Dirty Planters will be available April 22nd for $60 each at ShopODP.com.
