Reebok has announced the reintroduction of the iconic Kamikaze II OG, championed in 1995 by legendary dunker Shawn Kemp.
Reebok first released the Kamikaze II during the fourth quarter of 1995 as the updated version of Shawn Kemp’s iconic signature shoe, the Kamikaze. Designed to match Kemp’s on-court energy, otherwise known as “Reign Man”, the Kamikaze II was built atop first-of-its kind Hexalite cushioning that enabled superior lightweight bounce, while its mid-cut design and full-grain leather upper aided in support and brought together a unique and stylish black/green/white color palette nodding Kemp’s first pro uniforms.
Reenergized today — 25 years later — with specs true to the original model, Kamikaze II OG returns.
The Reebok Kamikaze II OG drops October 23 at Reebok.com, Foot Locker, Champs Sports and DTLR for $120 USD.
